Nach einer neuen Studie von pewinternet werden 2020 die meisten User über einen mobilen Zugang das Internet nutzen. Die Festnetzanschlüsse werden früher oder später wegfallen und ein neuer mobile Standard wird schnell genug sein, um mit vergleichbaren Festnetzanschlüssen stand zu halten. Hinzu kommt der ungemein große Vorteil der Mobilität. Fakten der Studie:

• The mobile device will be the primary connection tool to the internet for most people in the world in 2020.
• The transparency of people and organizations will increase, but that will not necessarily yield more personal integrity, social tolerance, or forgiveness.
• Voice recognition and touch user-interfaces with the internet will be more prevalent and accepted by 2020.
• Those working to enforce intellectual property law and copyright protection will remain in a continuing “arms race,” with the “crackers” who will find ways to copy and share content without payment.
• The divisions between personal time and work time and between physical and virtual reality will be further erased for everyone who is connected, and the results will be mixed in their impact on basic social relations.
• “Next-generation” engineering of the network to improve the current internet architecture is more likely than an effort to rebuild the architecture from scratch.

Schon jetzt nutzen wir von mobil-surfen das mobile Web und sind auf keinen Festnetzanschluss mehr angewiesen. Stellt sich nur noch die Frage ob es tatsächlich noch 11 Jahre dauert bis die meisten Menschen das mobile Web nutzen werden, oder ob es schon früher soweit ist. Wenn man die Geschichte des mobilen Webs und des ganzen Mobilfunks an einem vorbeifliegen lässt, dann wird man feststellen, dass es noch gar nicht so lange her ist. Die ersten Mobilfunkgeräte die man auch bezahlen konnte gab es doch erst vor 10-12 Jahren. Und jetzt soll es nochmal 11 Jahre dauern bis die meisten über das mobile Web surfen, obwohl die Netze der Betreiber schon gut ausgebaut sind und die Datentarife immer weiter sinken.

Uns ist klar, es passiert schon viel früher. Vielleicht schon in 8 Jahren, wenn es keine weltweite Rezension und Wirtschaftskrise gibt.
